In June 2011, she sang on The WSM 650 Live Radio Show "Midnite Jamboree" with Grand Ole Opry Star & Grammy Award winner Jeannie Seely. On August 2011 on air with Swiss Country Radio DJ Rolf Schnyder in SWITZERLAND; Then on September 2, 2011 with Radio Talk Show Host Josie Passantino of The Josie Show based out of Chicago Illinois. Brenda will be back with The Josie Show in October when the show celebrates its 100th episode.

  • NBCMHF has inducted many country music artists who were born in New Brunswick having achieved success in the Country Music Business. Some past inductees are Don Messer who played fiddle on The Tommy Hunter TV Show, and Country Crooner Mr. Wilf Carter also is recognized in the NBCMHF. Brenda Best was nominated this year.   • The Hollywood movie "Country Strong" filmed in Nashville starring Gwyneth Paltrow and country music superstar Tim McGraw made its debut in theaters nationwide January 2011. Brenda was an extra in the movie. Being part of a major motion picture is a thrill for Brenda Best. In 2006 she was an extra in the restaurant scene in another motion picture titled "The Second Chance" with Christian Music Award Winner, Michael W. Smith. She has also played small parts in country music videos with Blake Shelton's "Home" as well as Brad Paisley's "Mud on the Tires" and Catherine Britt's "Upside of Being Down".
